I have a multi-faceted background in education policy as a scholar, researcher, and educator at the PK-12 and post-secondary level. I design and conduct equity focused research with a mixed-methods and inter-disciplinary approach that I have honed through my educational career that includes a PhD in Education Policy from Teachers College (TC), Columbia University, an MA in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University, an EdM in Sociology & Education from TC and an MS in Childhood Education from City College, CUNY. I am currently an Associate Professor of Leadership Studies at Lehman College, CUNY.
